Following article explains cbd tinctures reviews. Tinctures are one of the most popular ways to take CBD and are often the staple product of any company’s offering. Receptra Naturals is no different. Our team decided to test two tinctures from the company’s Active Lifestyle line, the Elite and Pro options. Identical in taste, smell, and ingredients, the only difference is in their concentration and serving sizes. Both of them taste pleasant and smell great.
Most importantly, we were impressed by how effective they were. The tinctures noticeably improved our sleep, relieved stress by elevating our mood, boosted our energy levels, and helped reduce inflammation. The results are not a surprise though considering Receptra is one of the best CBD businesses around. Users search for tinctures reviews to have an idea about the product.

Receptra Active Lifestyle Extracts Review
We tested two of Receptra’s three Active Lifestyle extracts, Elite and Pro.
Both tinctures contain 1 oz of product, but Elite has 1,000+ mg of cannabinoids while Pro has 2,000+. The Elite offers 30 mg/serving and Pro 60 mg/serving.
The tincture we did not review is called Active—which is the smallest of the Active Lifestyle line—providing 15 mg/serving with 500+ mg of cannabinoids per 1 oz bottle.
We review CBD tinctures by the quality of their hemp content, CBD concentration, product packaging, ingredients, flavor and scent, value, and effectiveness.
Let’s start with the quality of the hemp extract in Receptra’s tinctures.
Above paragraph gives tinctures reviews of the product.

Hemp Quality
Receptra is unlike many other CBD companies in that they only extract cannabinoid content from the hemp flower.
What’s so special about the hemp flower?
The flower produces a resin that is rich with cannabinoids, such as CBD. The rest of the hemp plant contains significantly lower concentrations.
Using only the flower is more expensive than using the stalks or leaves, but it’s worth it to Receptra.
“Using the flower gives us the opportunity to provide the best products from the best parts of the hemp plant,” said Lane Radbill, the VP of Marketing at Receptra.
Using the hemp flower, Receptra produces a more potent product than its competitors.
After farmers handpick the hemp flowers, Receptra uses ethanol to extract the oil from them.
Ethanol is a clean and efficient extraction solvent that preserves the terpene content of the hemp extract.
Receptra’s high-quality operation is clean, safe, and efficient, making their products more likely to be effective.
Concentration
The Elite tincture contains at least 1,000 mg in a 1 oz bottle while the Pro tincture has at least 2,000 mg in a 1 oz bottle.
The Elite and Pro also have turmeric, at 10 and 20 mg/serving, respectively.
According to the Certificates of Analysis (COAs) from the products we tested, both tinctures contained slightly higher CBD concentrations than their baselines (i.e., 1,000 and 2,000 mg).
In comparison to other tinctures on the market, both the Elite and Pro are some of the more highly concentrated ones.
Many brands will top out around 1,000 – 1,500 mg per 1 oz bottle, but Receptra’s Elite is right in the middle of their five options for tincture concentrations.
At 2,000 mg/oz, the Pro is the highest of Receptra’s offering; few CBD companies have tinctures that high.
Those who are just starting with CBD may prefer the Elite tincture, while those who require higher doses will appreciate the Pro.
This tincture reviews will be helpful for new customers also.
Packaging
All tinctures—the Health and Wellness ones included—have the same packaging, except for the color of the labels.
In this case, the Pro labeling is midnight blue while the Elite is orange (possibly reminiscent of a local pro football team considering Receptra is based in Colorado?).
The label provides supplement facts, suggested use information, and an ingredients list.
The tinctures are made from amber glass and feature black, child-proof dropper caps. Each dropper has markings on it so you can measure consistent doses.
A unique aspect of Receptra’s packaging is the green label sticker.
Each product has a green sticker with a seven-digit number on it which gives you access to that product’s COA on Receptra’s testing page.
While the packaging is simple overall, it’s professional and gets the job done.
Ingredients
The highlights in the ingredient lists for these tinctures, besides the hemp extract, are the turmeric and avocado oil.
Turmeric is widely known to possess potent anti-inflammatory properties because of its curcumin content. While turmeric is low in curcumin, most supplements are made to contain high amounts of curcumin.
Curcumin is perfect for those who experience inflammation after exercise or have chronic inflammation, something that research is finding plays a significant role in many chronic diseases.
Research shows that avocado oil may also reduce inflammation, especially in arthritis, and provides antioxidant benefits.
Here are the ingredient lists for the Elite and Pro extracts:
- Ingredients for Elite: Hemp Extract, Turmeric Extract, Hemp Seed Oil, MCT Oil, Avocado Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Organic Natural Flavor
- Ingredients for Pro: Hemp Extract, Turmeric Extract, Hemp Seed Oil, MCT Oil, Avocado Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Organic Natural Flavor
Flavor And Scent
The tinctures taste and smell like berries with a hint of mint.
These are some of the best-tasting CBD oil extracts our team has tried. The tinctures have no semblance of a hemp taste and—what’s even better—the only aftertaste you’re left with is fresh mint.
Receptra does an excellent job of making their tinctures a pleasure to take instead of a chore.
Value
Receptra has also found a way to make their products some of the most affordable, which is admirable considering the concentrations of their products and their high-quality production process.
Elite
Starting with the Elite, this product retails for $79.95, which is a cost of $0.08/mg.
For reference, most tinctures at 1,000 mg per 1 oz bottle fall in a price range of $0.08/mg – $0.15/mg.
With the Elite at the lower end of that spectrum, Receptra is asking a below-average price for a well-above-average product.
If you plan on using the Elite often, we recommend checking out Receptra’s 2 oz option, which costs $149.95 and clocks in at $0.075/mg.
Pro
The Pro is Receptra’s most expensive product, but it’s also the company’s best for price per mg.
The 2,000 mg, 1 oz Pro tincture retails for $149.95, which is $0.075/mg. This is the same price as the 2 oz Elite option but at double the concentration.
Receptra’s 4,000 mg, 2 oz Pro tincture is just above 6 cents per mg at $249.95. This is one of the most affordable, highly concentrated CBD products you’ll find.
Effectiveness
Several members of our team thought Receptra’s tinctures provided the most noticeable benefits of any CBD oil products we have ever tried.
We used the tinctures to test their effects on our energy levels, inflammation, mood, and sleep quality.
Generally, we took the tincture twice a day, once in the morning after waking up and once at night before going to bed.
Energy
Both tinctures helped improve our energy levels to start the day, but the Elite seemed to be slightly better.
The tinctures relieved morning grogginess and helped us feel fully awake.
As a result, we felt like we could perform at our peak energy level earlier in the day and for longer.
On some occasions, the mid-afternoon crash hit us hard, so we took an extra dose of CBD. This gave us more energy to finish the day strong.
Discomfort
We believe the Pro tincture had the most potent effects on discomfort.
Two people within our focus group dealt with occasional aches and discomfort.
After one dose, the Pro tincture seemed to help prevent most of the discomfort they felt.
Stress
Both tinctures helped relieve stress to some extent, but the most effective one was the Elite.
Providing more energy and a modest mood boost, the Elite helped us feel like we could take on whatever the day would bring with less worry about what needed to get done.
The effects seemed to last for several hours, usually long enough to get through a typical day of work.
Mood
Our team was generally more happy and upbeat after taking both tinctures, but the most effective product seemed to be the Pro.
After taking the first dose in the morning, when many of us were initially tired and irritable, we perked up significantly within 30 minutes of consumption.
The elevation in our moods was noticeable, and it usually lasted for most of the day.
Sleep
We found that both tinctures are equally effective for getting better quality sleep.
Using the tinctures within an hour of bedtime, most of us fell asleep faster and stayed asleep longer than without CBD.
We also felt more well-rested when we woke up, indicating that our sleep was more restorative because we reached deeper sleep. Tincture review explain how this product helps to get good sleep.
Conclusion
Our team was thoroughly impressed with the quality and effectiveness of Receptra’s Active Lifestyle extracts.
Receptra creates their products with only the best ingredients and has perfected a process that produces a clean, safe hemp oil while preserving its potency.
Despite this high-quality, the tinctures are excellently priced in comparison with similar products from other companies.
Also, these tinctures provided the most tangible effects several members of our team ever noticed with CBD oil.
With all that said, we are more than happy to give a full-hearted recommendation of Receptra’s Active Lifestyle extracts.
